TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM

The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is a 4-year financial program that describes the schedule for obligating federal funds to state and local projects.  The TIP contains funding information for all modes of transportation including highways, transit capital, and operating costs.  State, regional and local transportation agencies update the program each year to reflect priority projects in the LRP. The 2020-2023 TIP was developed in partnership with local transportation agencies, SEMCOG and MDOT. WATS Policy Committee will take action on the 2020-2023 TIP at their June 19, 2019 meeting. State and federal approval is anticipated in August 2019.  Click here to view the 2020-2023 TIP.
