Conservation Community Organizer Internship
Sierra Club San Diego is offering a Conservation Community Organizer Internship.
This is a temporary paid ($15 @ hour – 15 hours a week) internship position (16 weeks from start) in the environmental and social justice organizing field for an individual who is currently pursuing or already graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. High-school diploma or GED required.
Under the general supervision of the assigned supervisor and mentor, the selected candidate conducts research, participates in project assignments and programs; assists in carrying out campaign strategies that can build power for our movement, and interacts with volunteers, citizens, other organizations and other club staff.
