It’s the most wonderful time of the year for Amazon shoppers and, well, anyone who likes a good deal: the multiday event called Prime Day. We scoured this year’s Prime Day deals to pick out the best gear for the you or the auto detailer in your life. With these deals, you’ll have some of the best gear, products and accessories to keep your car looking fresh.

Keeping your car clean doesn’t only help it look better, it can protect your car from swirls, scratches, debris and even rust. A simple wash and wax will go a long way to keep your car looking shiny, but below, you’ll find some of the best deals on tools, supplies and products to help you accomplish that goal.

Stanley

A power washer isn’t just a good tool to clean decks, siding, pavement and other things — it’s great for car washing. With a foam lance attached and the right nozzle attachment, you can spray a car down with glorious, foamy soap, wash with a clean sponge, and then rinse the car with clean water. This Stanley unit rated up to 2,050 psi is $92 off for Prime Day and holds a 4.5-star rating among those who purchased it. Plus, you’ll save water in the next time you wash your car.

Takuvan

You can’t wash a car without a hose. Well, you can with a rinseless car soap (we like those too), but a good hose goes a long way. The Takuvan expandable hose stretches to 100 feet and promises to never kink on you. Seriously, these types of hoses are a godsend. The nozzle that comes with the hose provides nine different spray options, too, so you’ll have so many choices when it comes time to rinse your car off. It typically sells for $50, so snagging it for just $39 is a mighty good deal.

Carfidant

Hey, look at that. One of our top picks for scratch removal is on sale as part of Prime Day. It works great and it comes with a hand applicator. You should read more about it in our piece on best scratch removers for cars.

Chemical Guys

This is by far the best car detailing deal we found as part of Prime Day. This bundle of amazing stuff from Chemical Guys typically costs $100, but it’s $31 off for Amazon’s event. There’s truly a little bit of everything if you’re just diving into car detailing, or perhaps you want to load up on supplies and equipment. It even includes our top car wax pick for 2020!

Amazon

If you plan on using a scratch remover, wax or any other product on your car, you’re going to need microfiber cloths. A lot of them. AmazonBasics typically sells this bundle of 144 cloths for over $50, but for Prime Day, the pack is $14 cheaper. These cloths aren’t cheap anywhere, so this is a great chance to stock up at a great price.

KIMO

What the heck is a leaf blower doing on a list of car detailing gear? A leaf blower is actually a handy tool when you want to dry your car off after a wash without wiping it down. Consider it a big ol’ hair dryer for your car as it blows away water, and it’s even easier after you apply a coat of wax to make water bead well. The Kimo leaf blower is $12 off its standard price during Prime Day, making it a great, affordable, touchless way to dry off your car.

Novete

It can be a pain to drag out the Shop-Vac every time you want to vacuum your car. Consider a small handheld vacuum instead. The Novete handheld vac comes with three attachments, including a brush, to pick up whatever litters your interior. Pet hair, crumbs and debris don’t stand a chance with great suction and up to 30 minutes of run time. Owners are happy with it, too: It rates 4.3 stars overall. Snag it for $8 off before it’s gone.

Tacklife

We were so excited to see a dual-action polisher make its way to the Prime Day deals. It’s a vital tool that will make life so much easier when you want to use scratch-removal products, polishes and waxes. Trust us, doing the work by hand is hard work. Polishers make it a whole lot easier. Tacklife’s polisher is $20 off and enjoys 4.4 stars out of 5 from those who’ve bought it. It even comes with a wool polishing disc and three other cutting pads to get you started.

MATCC

If a power washer and foam lance aren’t in the budget, a foam cannon for a garden hose is the next best thing. The MATCC Foam Gun enjoys 4.3 out of 5 stars from owners, and it’s $12 off for Prime Day. It even includes an adjustment dial to fine-tune the suds this foam blaster spews while you wash your car. It’s a handy tool that should make washing your car more enjoyable.

Detailing deals just before winter

Colder weather is just around the corner and many of us will need tools and products to get our cars clean and protected before the snow starts showing up in many parts of the US. Even if you’re not readying your car for the cold weather, these detailing tools and products would make a fine addition to your car detailing arsenal. Keep an eye on this page for new deals as they become available.
