One person was taken into custody after a brief vehicle pursuit in Tarrant.The Tarrant Police Department says officers were attempting a traffic stop, when a person drove away this afternoon.The chase went into Birmingham City limits, until it ended in the Inglenook area.Tarrant Police, along with Birmingham Police, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit and STAR 1 were searching for the person who ran away after stopping the vehicle.Law enforcement officers were able to find the person and make the arrest.No one was hurt.It’s wasn’t revealed what prompted the traffic stop and the investigation continues.

Tarrant Police, along with Birmingham Police, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit and STAR 1 were searching for the person who ran away after stopping the vehicle.

Law enforcement officers were able to find the person and make the arrest.

No one was hurt.
