A Jefferson County teenager was killed in a two-vehicle accident Monday night in Bessemer.The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified the decedent as Taylor Ronald Akin, 16, of Adger.Akin was a passenger in a Chevrolet Camaro that was traveling south on 15th Street Road near the CCC Camp Road intersection.The Camaro collided with a Chevrolet pick-up truck that was also traveling south on 15th Street Road, according to the police report.The collision caused the Camaro to roll multiple times and come to a stop of the shoulder of the road.Akin was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.The driver of the Camaro was taken to an area hospital.
