The year was 1997. Titanic was in theaters, and there was no escaping Céline Dion’s My Heart Will Go On. Bill Clinton was serving his second presidential term. NASA launched the Cassini-Huygens spacecraft. The first Harry Potter book was published in England. Most importantly of all, Blue Knob Auto Sales was opening its doors in Duncansville, PA.
Back then, we had only 15 employees, barely any used cars to sell, and limited financing options. Today, we have sold over 100,000 vehicles — not only to drivers from the greater Altoona, Ebensburg, Huntingdon, and Hollidaysburg area, but to people all over the world. Though the 90’s already feel like a lifetime ago, that’s a huge amount of growth in a short time.
